Elana Kutz

Elana has worked for W. P. Carey School of Business for the last 8 years. She has helped launched the major: BA in Sports Business in 2013 and she currently serves as the Director of the major. Elana has taught classes in the major and coaches student on career and professional development. Elana serves as the advisor for both Sports Business Scholars and Sports Business Association, where she develops programs, outreach trips, career fairs, and the annual symposium.

Before working at ASU, Elana worked in the sports industry for 10 years at companies, such as, Turnkey Sports & Entertainment, Aramark, Madison Square Garden, Fox Sports Arizona, Phoenix Regional Sports Commission, Radio City Entertainment and the Phoenix Suns.

Christopher Lee

Christopher Lee is a Clinical Assistant Professor who joined ASU after serving as an Assistant Professor at Temple University in Philadelphia. Christopher has a background in the sports industry, having worked with Turnkey Sports and Entertainment, the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, sports cap manufacturer New Era Cap and Camelback Ranch, the spring-training home of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox. Christopher earned his Ph.D. in marketing from the University of Oregon and his Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. In addition, he is also a graduate of the Master of Business Administration program at Arizona State University where his concentration was sports business.

The ASU Sports Advisory Board is made up of exceptional leaders who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in the Greater Phoenix sports business community. Members are committed to mentoring our students, assisting the program with curriculum decisions, and providing programming and career support.
