Abby Auerr
President
Abby is a senior from Massachusetts, double majoring in Sports Business and Marketing with an International Business Certificate. This summer, she interned with the Brockton Rox, a baseball team in an MLB affiliate league. Throughout the season, she facilitated in-game entertainment by creating promotional nights and gathering sponsors and facilitating smooth-running gamely operations. Currently, Abby is a Corporate Partnerships intern for Sun Devil Athletics. During the Fall 2025 semester, she and a team of interns will work to gather evidence of partnership asset fulfillment as well as contribute to innovating new ways to activate. Previously she served as a Paris 2024 USA House Intern at the Paris Olympics, assisting with guest hospitality and sponsor satisfaction. At ASU she is the current President of Sports Business Scholars and is an active member in both Inferno Affinity Alliance and CHAARG. She is also part of the Principled Presidents program within W. P. Carey School of Business, focused on driving positive change and finding solutions based on ASU’s principled Innovation framework. She is also a student of Barrett the Honors College here at ASU, currently researching her thesis on the shift in marketing professional sports organizations from corporate to community focus. After graduation she plans to make an impact at a professional sports team, focusing on giving back and making an impact in their local community.

Carine Heller
VP of Membership and Alumni Relations
Carine is a senior from St. Louis, Missouri, studying Sports Business with a minor in Film and Media Production at Arizona State University. She most recently interned with the St. Louis Blues in Corporate Partnerships, Activation & Service, supporting partnership strategy and activations. Previously, she worked in Broadcast Operations with FOX Sports and in Golf & Media at The Familie, assisting on partnership outreach and branding projects. At ASU, Carine serves as Vice President of Mentorship & Alumni Relations for Sports Business Scholars and worked as a Digital Media Intern with Sun Devil Athletics, producing photo and video content across athletics. She also freelances under her brand “@hellerwithacamera,” capturing content for clients such as Waggle Golf, Mercy Sports Performance, and ASU publications. Carine is passionate about partnerships and brand development, with long-term career goals in the NHL or professional golf.

Jered Baloloy
VP of Marketing and Communications
Jered is a senior at Arizona State University studying Sports Business through the W.P. Carey School of Business. At just 17, the Orange County native re-launched OC Student Sections, now one of the largest student section organizations in the nation, where he serves as their Chief Operating Officer. His sports business career began at the University of Oregon in Football Recruiting and Player Personnel under Coach Dan Lanning, later leading to two years managing social media for the prestigious Manning Passing Academy. After transferring to ASU, Jered joined Kenny Dillingham’s staff in Player Personnel, while also serving as a Lead Intern with Sun Devil Athletics Marketing & Game Presentation, a Sports Marketing Intern with Premier Athlete Agency, and a Student Marketing Ambassador for CELSIUS. Currently the Vice President of Marketing & Communications for Sports Business Scholars, Jered is dedicated to creating community impact, elevating fan experiences, and pursuing a career in sports marketing post-graduation.

Owen Bateman
VP of Finance and Operations
Owen is a sophomore in the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University, originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, and is pursuing a degree in Sports Business. He most recently worked with Insignia Event Services in operations, where he assisted with pregame and postgame activities outside of State Farm Stadium. He has also volunteered with the National Pickleball Association and Ironman, supporting event operations in both organizations. At ASU, Owen serves as Vice President of Sports Business Scholars and is an active member and mentor within the Sports Business Association. He plans to graduate in three years and subsequently pursue law school. In the long term, he aspires to work at a law firm or serve as legal counsel for a sports organization.

Andrew Vinci
VP of Special Events
Andrew is a senior in the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University, studying Sports Business with a certificate in Applied Business Data Analytics. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, but born in Massachusetts, Andrew is a huge Boston sports fan. He most recently interned with the Arizona Golf Association (AZ Golf) as a PJ Boatwright intern in the data analytics and membership department. He has also worked as an analyst for the Sun Devil Swim and Dive Team, as a Law Clerk with Tice+Mendes, and was part of the 12-person cohort that attended the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he worked with Team USA. This fall, he will be interning at Navigate as a custom research and consulting intern. At ASU, Andrew serves as the Vice President of Special Events of Sports Business Scholars as well as the Director of Spirit, Pride, and Tradition for the Undergraduate Student Government. After graduation, he plans to pursue law school for his J.D. to work for a major law firm or a sports organization.

Alison Matson
Alison is a senior from Phoenix, Arizona, studying Sports Business at the W. P. Carey School of Business. She most recently worked with the Arizona Diamondbacks as a Business Support Team member, where she assisted in event planning and execution, group ticket sales, and prospecting fundraising initiatives. Previously, Alison interned with the Athletics as a Game Day Operations Intern during Spring Training, where she gained valuable experience in stadium operations, fan experience management, and in-game activations. At ASU, Alison is an active member of the Sports Business Association, participating in professional development, networking, and student-led initiatives to expand her opportunities in the sports industry. She is passionate about pursuing a career in digital brand marketing, sports agency, public relations, sports journalism, or community relations. Alison is eager to leverage her hands-on experiences and industry involvement to build a career that strengthens connections between sports organizations and the communities they serve.

David Corujo Segura
David is a senior at Arizona State University studying Sports Business with a certificate in Applied Business Data Analytics through the W.P.Carey School of Business. Originally from Barcelona, he grew up in Frisco, Texas where he has worked as a Sports Performance intern with Michael Johnson Performance, helping analyze and interpret fitness testing results for various athletes to build them individualized workouts. Most recently, he interned with Sports Academy at the Star in Frisco, Texas, working closely with event operations and business logistics to help put on national training camp events such as BT Jordan’s Pass Rush Retreat and OL Masterminds. At ASU, he is involved closely with ALPFA, having served as Vice President of Events before studying abroad in Madrid this past semester. Currently, he works as a Guest Attendant with Sun Devil Athletics. Long-term, he aspires to work for a professional sports team or brand in business operations and would like to leverage his data analysis skills in some capacity.

Donovan Drummer
Donovan is a senior from Atlanta, Georgia, studying Sports Business at Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business. He most recently interned with Monumental Sports & Entertainment in Washington, D.C., supporting the Global Partnerships team across the Washington Wizards, Capitals, and Mystics through sponsorship proposals, recap decks, and in-arena activations, and earlier in the summer he was selected as 1 of 24 students nationwide for the USGA Pathways Program at the 125th U.S. Open, where he rotated through Partnerships, Operations, and Player Relations while collaborating with executives from NBC, Deloitte, Amex, and Ally. Previously, he served as a Corporate Partnerships Activation Intern with D.C. United, assisting with game day operations, client management, and partner activations. On campus, he is an Undergraduate Student Representative on ASU’s Advisory Council on African American Affairs, appointed by President Michael Crow, a Student Ambassador for ASU’s Multicultural Communities of Excellence, and a proud member of Sports Business Scholars. He is also a Washington Program Scholar with the Institute for Responsible Citizenship, a two-summer fellowship for high-achieving African American male college students, where he has engaged with national leaders across government, business, and media. With long-term career goals in global partnerships and strategic consulting, he aspires to work at the intersection of sports, business innovation, and community impact.

Esha Saraswat
Esha is a junior from Scottsdale, Arizona and is double majoring in Sports Business and Marketing at the W.P. Carey School of Business and is attaining a certificate in Cross Sector Leadership through the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions. She is going into her second year working with Sun Devil Athletics as the Lead Photographer for Sun Devil Soccer gaining hands-on experience in gameday planning, social media and coordination with coaches to elevate the program’s digital presence. Previously she worked for Phoenix Rising FC as a Brand Ambassador driving campus engagement and creating successful marketing campaigns. On campus Esha is a Pat Tillman Scholar and a Sports Business Scholar. Esha also works as a freelance photographer under “@saraswat.shots”, as a sports and events photographer building a dynamic portfolio that spans collegiate athletes and professional development. Esha is dedicated to showing that sports is more than just a game, but about the energy and emotion that brings fans together.

Evie Hoff
Evie is a junior at Arizona State University studying Sports Business with a certificate in Leadership in Business through the W. P. Carey School of Business and Barrett, The Honors College. Originally from Seattle, she is a lifelong Seahawks fan who has grown to appreciate the Cardinals during her time in Arizona. She is passionate about using sports to create meaningful community impact and currently serves as a Gameday Operations Lead Intern with Sun Devil Athletics, where she supports fan engagement, in-game promotions, and other organizational and operational tasks within the Marketing and Game Presentation department. As a lifelong swimmer, she continues to coach youth summer league swimming in Seattle. While on campus, she serves as the Vice President of Membership for the Sports Business Association, has held multiple leadership roles in her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, and is an active member of the Swim Club at ASU and Order of Omega. Evie is expected to graduate in May 2027 and aspires to pursue a career in community engagement with a professional sports team, uniting her passion for athletics with her dedication to building stronger communities.

Griffin McMullen
Griffin McMullen is a junior from Orange County California pursuing degrees in sports business and finance. After transferring to ASU as a sophomore he gained experience working with professional sports teams such as the Athletics and the Chicago Bears in event operations. While working in operations Griffin had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in bringing sporting events to life and executing key partner activations. Currently, Griffin is a corporate partnerships intern with Sun Devil Athletics. This upcoming Spring, Griffin will return to the Athletics with a role as the retail coordinator for spring training. Griffin hopes to use sports and live events as a way to bring people together through powerful shared experiences.

Jack Barrow
Jack is from Scottsdale, Arizona, and is a Sophomore majoring in Sports Business at the W.P. Carey School of Business. He currently serves as the Vice President of Social Events for the Sports Business Association and is a member of Alpha Kappa Psi. This past year, he interned with the PGA Southwest Section as a Tournament Operations Intern, gaining hands-on experience in planning and running events. In February, he joined the SBA Outreach Trip to Chicago, which deepened his interest in building a career in the sports industry. Jack grew up playing baseball, running track, and cross-country, but football has always been his greatest passion. He believes sports have a unique way of bringing people together and creating a sense of community that goes beyond the game. In his free time, he enjoys working out, hiking, traveling, and watching sports. As VP of Social Events, Jack is excited to create events that help connect members, build friendships, and keep everyone engaged. After graduation, he hopes to work in community engagement within sports, helping teams and athletes make a positive impact both on and off the field.

Jackson Woods
Jackson is a junior at Arizona State University studying Sports Business with certificates in International Business Studies and Sports, Cultures, and Ethics. He’s from Las Vegas, NV, and also has a British dual citizenship. He most recently interned with Phoenix Rising FC in Sales & Services, with a focus on regular game day duties and renewing season tickets. Previously, he worked as an ambassador for the NCAA Men’s Final Four, assisting fans around State Farm Stadium, plus he was a Soccer Ambassador at DICK’S Sporting Goods, using his soccer knowledge to help customers. At ASU, Jackson is a member of the Sports Business Scholars. After graduation, he plans to pursue a master's degree in either Sports Journalism or Sports Law. He ultimately wants to work around soccer, as that is his passion.

Kailie Paramo
Kailie is a senior studying Sports Business at the W.P. School Carey’s School of Business, originally from San Diego, California. As a Student Marketeer for Red Bull, she creates brand engagement through sampling across the East Valley of Phoenix and has worked the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix and the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Most recently, she completed a Ballpark Operations Internship with the San Diego Padres while supporting game day logistics and facility operations. Her previous experience includes leading social media strategy for the Peoria Sports Complex and overseeing interns during MLB Spring Training, managing attractions at MLB All-Star Week’s Play Ball Park in Seattle, and contributing to major San Diego events as a marketing intern with Centric Marketing. Through these roles, Kailie is aspiring to continue her career in event operations and event marketing at a professional level.

Keenan Brown
Keenan Brown is a Senior at Arizona State University, studying Sports Business with a focus on pre-law. Being from Montreal and Atlanta, he is a dual citizen with a love for hockey and football. In the future, he wants to combine his passion for sports with a commitment to advocacy and law. This school year, Keenan is working with the ASU Women’s Tennis Program as a Student Volunteer, focusing on increasing student engagement through marketing. This past summer, Keenan participated in the Emory Summer Child Advocacy Program at the Emory University School of Law. At Super Bowl LVII, he worked as a Mobility Coordinator, helping manage operations during one of the largest sporting events in the world. On campus, Keenan serves as Vice President of his Division I Club Roller Hockey team. Keenan was also a founding member of the Future Sports Leaders club at ASU. He plans to pursue law school in the Fall of '26 and a career in sports law. Last and certainly not least, he is a proud returning member of Sports Business Scholars!

Kylie Bursey
Kylie is a junior at Arizona State University, originally from Madera, CA, and double-majoring in Sports Business and Marketing. She is currently working for Sun Devil Athletics as a Lead Senior Administration Student Intern, where she assists with all large-scale event planning and preparations. Previously, she worked as a Sports Marketing Analyst Intern with Front Runner Sports, where she did brand outreach on behalf of NFL and NCAA Athletes. She has also been a Marketing and Branding Intern for the Sun Angel Collective, where she worked on the development and marketing initiatives for “Devil’s Halo”, the official craft beer of Sun Devil Athletics. At ASU, Kylie serves as the current Executive Vice President of the Sports Business Association, where she plans and promotes two separate career fairs for Sports Business students. After graduation, she aspires to pursue a career in the sports industry, focusing on large-scale event planning and operations for a professional or collegiate team.

Luz Campos Berumen
Luz is a senior from Phoenix, Arizona, double majoring in Sports Business and Marketing. This summer, she interned with Salt River Project (SRP) and the Arizona Rattlers, as well as participated in a short study abroad program in London where she connected with individuals in the sports industry. This upcoming February, Luz will be attending the Winter Olympics in Milan. At ASU, Luz is currently the Director of Public Relations for Undergraduate Student Government, the Executive Vice President of Programming for the Business School Council, and an active member of student organizations such as adworks and Business Ambassadors. Additionally, Luz is a McCord Scholar in the McCord Scholars Program at ASU’s W. P. Carey School of Business is a prestigious scholarship that supports high-achieving juniors and seniors while fostering leadership, mentorship, and community involvement. After graduation, Luz plans to make an impact in the sports community whether that is through events, marketing, or partnerships.

Matthew Bank
Matthew is a sophomore in the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University, from Scottsdale, Arizona, and is pursuing a degree in Sports Business. He is an avid Arizona sports fan, following the Diamondbacks, Cardinals, and Suns. He most recently worked with the Arizona Diamondbacks on their Business Support Team, where he performed group ticket sales in their office, along with event planning and execution during Diamondbacks homestands. He also works for the Arizona State baseball team as a student manager, where he assists the coaching staff with daily tasks and smooth execution of practices/games. At ASU, Matthew is an active member of the Sports Business Association and is a brother of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He plans to graduate in four years and graduate with honors. In his future, he aspires to work in a Major League Baseball front office as either a scout or on the player development side.

Toyin Akinsipe
Toyin Akinsipe is a sophomore at Arizona State University from Peoria, Arizona, pursuing a degree in Sports Business at the W. P. Carey School of Business. She began her career in sports during her freshman year with Sun Devil Athletics in the Ticketing Department, where she gained hands on experience in customer service, ticket sales, and fan engagement. In this role, she developed a strong understanding of the ticketing process, event-day logistics, and how to create a positive fan experience. Most recently, Toyin has continued her work with Sun Devil Athletics in the Corporate Partnerships Department, where she supports partner activations, assists in game day operations, and learns the intricacies of managing sponsorship relationships. This experience has allowed her to develop communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills while contributing to the success of Sun Devil Athletics’ partnership initiatives. At ASU, Toyin is an active member of the Sports Business Association (SBA) and Sports Business Scholars (SBS), where she continues to build her professional network, sharpen her business skills, and explore opportunities within the sports industry. She is also a member of the Women’s Basketball Club at ASU. Outside of school and athletics, Toyin serves as a brand ambassador for AZVA, a local clothing brand, where she supports marketing efforts and represents the brand within her community. A lifelong basketball fan, Toyin aspires to pursue a career in the basketball industry, with interests in areas such as PR and Marketing, partnerships, and community engagement. She is eager to continue leveraging her diverse experiences, leadership roles, and passion for sports to build a career that inspires and connects others through sports.

Ryan Fingerman
Ryan Fingerman is a sophomore from Scottsdale, Arizona, pursuing dual degrees in Sports Business and Marketing with a certificate in Leadership in Business through the W. P. Carey School of Business. This past summer, he interned with the Junior Golf Association of Arizona as a Communications & Marketing Intern, where he contributed to marketing, social media strategy, photography, videography, and tournament operations, supporting events such as the Girls Junior Americas Cup and USGA Junior Amateur Qualifiers. He is currently a Corporate Partnerships Intern with Sun Devil Athletics (primarily working with football) and also works at Mullett Arena as an Iceplex Associate, assisting with event operations for ASU Hockey and the G League’s Valley Suns. In addition, Ryan works independently as a multimedia specialist under his brand “@fingermanproductions”, producing content in photography, videography, and graphic design for athletes across all ages and sports. He also has prior experience as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach, where he worked with athletes of all ages and skill levels in training and competition settings. At ASU, he serves as the Vice President of Operations for the Sports Business Association, is an active member of the Real Estate Club, and was honored as one of 19 students selected as a Tillman Scholar through ASU’s Leadership Through Action program, focused on cultivating leadership, service, and impact through real-world projects and community involvement. After graduation, he hopes to pursue a career in athlete marketing or partnerships, with the long-term goal of becoming a sports agent, using sports business not only as a career path but also as a platform to create meaningful experiences, strengthen communities, and drive positive impact.
