Brandon Stillman

President

Brandon is a third-year scholar double majoring in Sports Business and Marketing (Professional Sales) with a minor in International Business. Brandon formerly served as the Executive Vice President for ASU’s Sports Business Association and was the 2022-2023 Vice President of Special Events for SBS in addition to being the Risk Manager for his fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha. He previously interned for ASU Football Equipment & Operations and the Phoenix Suns Street Team. Last season, Brandon was a PUCK intern for the Arizona Coyotes. Brandon’s goal is to work on the brand side of the sports industry. Since Brandon is originally from Door County, Wisconsin, he is a passionate fan of the Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Brewers, and the Green Bay Packers.

Sydney Kim

Vice President of Marketing and Communications

Sydney is a second-year scholar entering her junior year and was a former student-athlete on the ASU track and field team. She is double majoring in Business Management and Sports Business with a minor in Communications. Currently, she is a Social Media Coordinator for Jeramie McPeek Communications where she has worked with various clients such as Super Bowl LVII, Fiesta Bowl, Dallas Wings, Cactus League Spring Training, and Women’s Premier Soccer League. Sydney has also worked for a commercial Real Estate Land Development Company. After earning her bachelor’s degree, Sydney hopes to work for a Sports Marketing Agency. With Sydney being from Houston, Texas her favorite team is the Houston Astros.

Alexander Taylor

Vice President of Operations

Alex is a sophomore in Barrett, The Honors College and a first-year scholar. Currently, Alex is on the Business Support Team for the Arizona Diamondbacks and is a tournament operations intern at Junior Golf Association of Arizona. On campus, Alex is a WPC 101 facilitator, Barrett Peer Mentor, and a member of the Professional Development Committee for Business School Council. He also gained experience in sports by working as a Ticket Sales Associate for Sun Devil Athletics and an Area Manager for the Super Bowl LVII Experience. Being from Dallas Texas, he is a fan of the Dallas Mavericks and wants to become an agent for the National Basketball Association.

Anmarie Huggett

Vice President of Mentorship

Anmarie is a junior from Boston, Massachusetts double majoring in Sports Business and Marketing with an Applied Business Data Analytics certificate. She previously served as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for SBS from 2022 - 2023. Currently, she holds a Corporate Partnerships Internship with Sun Devil Athletics and a Game Day Operations Internship with the Arizona Cardinals. Anmarie previously worked with the San Francisco Giants and Super Bowl LVII. She also enjoys being a member of Devils’ Advocates as a campus tour guide for ASU and being a WPC 101 Facilitator. Anmarie aspires to work in Corporate Partnerships for a professional sports team with plans to pursue a Master of Business Administration degree after gaining adequate work experience.

Donovan Drummer 

Vice President of Special Events

Donovan is a sophomore and first-year scholar originally from Dacula, Georgia. Although only a sophomore, Donovan is involved in various clubs on campus. He is currently the class president for Devil’s Advocates, Vice President of African American Men at ASU, and Co-event Coordinator for Black Business Students Association. He currently interns for DeKalb County Probate Court in Georgia. He also has work experience in being a summer school tutor for 5th and 6th graders and a tour guide at Johnson Stem Activity Center. Donovan is a fan of the New Orleans Saints and aspires to work in Game Day Operations for a collegiate or professional basketball or football team, with the end goal of becoming a University Athletic Director.

Izzie Ayer

Izzie is a junior in Barrett, the Honors College and is a second-year scholar majoring in Sports Business with a Leadership in Business Certificate. She is involved on campus as the Omega Phi Alpha Sorority Fundraising Chair and works on campus for the office of the COO. Izzie currently holds internships with Phoenix Rising FC in their partnerships and activations department and the Arizona Cardinals in game day operations. She has also worked with Sun Devil Athletics as a women's basketball manager, the Society LLC as a Marketing and Social Media intern, and she participated in the RISE Super Bowl Leadership Program. In the future, Izzie hopes to create a positive change by working to continue to push forward the growth and success of women's sports. Being from England, Izzie is a big West Ham United fan, but she also loves the Phoenix Suns and Mercury.

Samantha Ayotte

Samantha is a senior double majoring in Business Data Analytics and Sports Business. After completing her undergraduate dual degrees at ASU, she hopes to specialize in analytics for a professional sports team or athletic wear brand. She was the former student manager for the ASU Women’s Lacrosse Team for both the 2022 and 2023 season along with holding an internship with Allegiant Airlines as a Reliability Intern. Samantha is an avid fan of the New York Rangers as she is originally from Port Jefferson, New York.

Jonathan Baumgarth

Jonathan is an incoming senior studying Sports Business with a minor in Special Events Management. Over the summer of 2022, he held an internship with Guild Golf Carts as a Sales Intern and was a former Game Day Operations Intern for the Arizona Cardinals. He is currently an Intern for Head of National Basketball Association JR Duperrier of Adidas and will be helping Dana and David Pump setup for their annual Harold and Carole Pump Foundation Gala. Jonathan is an active member of the Sports Business Association and Esports Business Association at ASU. Since Jonathan is originally from Portland, Oregon, his favorite sports team is the Portland Trail Blazers and after graduation he aspires to work in Sports Marketing for a brand.

Zach Bosse-Thomsen

Zachary is a senior and originally from Seattle, Washington. Over the summer of 2023, Zachary worked as an MLB All-Star Week Experience Team Coordinator in Seattle. He also has a seasonal internship role, as a Game day Operations Lead Intern, for Peoria Sports Complex during Spring Training. Additionally, Zachary was a Super Bowl Media Operations Associate and Mobility Assistance Coordinator for Super Bowl LVII. He is also an active member of Sports Business Association. Through his experiences, Zachary has enjoyed event planning and hopes to pursue a career in Event Coordination and Operations. Being from Seattle, Zachary is an avid fan of the Seattle Mariners and Seattle Seahawks.

Kaylee Courtney 

Kaylee is a junior who was born and raised in Denver Colorado and an avid fan of the Denver Nuggets. Kaylee currently interns for the Arizona Cardinals in their production department for the Game Day Operations Internship Program. She also interns for the Men’s Final Four Local Organizing Committee, as a Summer Intern in the Social Responsibility & Volunteers and Operations Department. She previously worked for Super Bowl LVII in the International Media Booth. Post-graduation, Kaylee’s goal is to work her way up to becoming the General Manager of a Professional Sports Team.

Michael Crossley 

Michael is a junior originally from Phoenix, Arizona. Michael is pursuing a degree in Sports Business with a minor in Spanish. Currently, he works as a Media Intern for Fox Sports and as a Billing Intern for NIET. Michael was also a former football intern for Hawker Family Sports & Entertainment as well as a Sports Statistician with Synergy Sports, Premier Sports and Perfect Game. Upon graduation, Michael aspires to work in the front office of a sports team within the analytics department. Michael is also a fan of the Phoenix Suns and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).

Ty Konrad

Ty is a senior originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and majoring in Sports Business with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Over the summer, Ty interned for ESC LaLinga & NBA while studying abroad in Madrid, Spain. Ty is currently a Corporate Partnerships Intern for Sun Devil Athletics. Previously, he was a Marketing Intern for the Peoria Sports Complex, working with the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres. He was also an area manager for the Super Bowl LVII Experience. Additionally, he was a former Sports Reporter for AZPreps365 and hosted a podcast on the Blaze radio. On campus, Ty is a supervisor for the SDFC sports program along with being a member of ASU’s Sports Business Association. Upon graduation, Ty aspires to either attend graduate school or pursue a career in Corporate Partnerships within sports.

Nick Mckune

Nick is a junior, originally from Goldendale, Washington. Nick currently works for the ASU football team as the Head Video Assistant where he films practices, competitions, and games as well as edits the film for the coaches needs. He was also a guest services representative for the Super Bowl LVII Experience. In Washington, Nick is the owner and operator of McKune Fence Co. where he successfully plans and builds fences for various clients. Nick aspires to work in operations for a professional sports team or become an athletic director for a college or university. Nick’s favorite sports teams are the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Mariners, and Portland Trail blazers.

Alyssa Muccillo

Alyssa is a junior in Barrett, The Honors College who is triple majoring in Sports Business, Digital Marketing, and Supply Chain Management. In addition to her involvement in Sports Business Scholars, Alyssa is the current Vice President of Partnerships for American Marketing Association, Director of Finance for adworks, and a WPC 101 Lead Facilitator. Additionally, she was the former Director of Finance for the Country Line Dancing Club at ASU. Alyssa is currently a Media Relations Intern with Sun Devil Athletics and previously interned for the Arizona Cardinals in Game Day Operations. Alyssa is an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and all ASU sports teams.

Jeremy Platt

Jeremy is a second-year scholar in Barrett, The Honors College from Santa Monica California. From a young age, Jeremy has been passionate about football as he made history by becoming the youngest sideline reporter for the XFL and AAF. In 2017, Jeremy created the “Between the Tackles” podcast and website which provides an analytical perspective on football, based on his previous experience in playing football for his high school. He was also selected by Rob Prior to be an NFL Liaison and Talent Coordinator for the 2022 NFL Draft. Jeremy was a scouting intern for the San Francisco 49ers and an HEIR Business Ambassador. Currently, Jeremy is an advanced Scout under his 2022-2023 mentor, Marvin Lewis. His goal is to become an NFL Scout for the NFL Scouting Department.

Preston Ponteras

Preston is a senior from Wahiawā, Hawai’i studying Sports Business and Computer Information Systems with a minor in Special Events Management. Currently, he is a Business Development intern with the Arizona Cardinals and a Corporate Partnerships intern with Barrett-Jackson Auction Company. Previously, Preston was an operations intern with the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee, a Data Science Analyst for SPICE and a Spring Training Intern for the Peoria Sports Complex. Being from Hawai’i, Preston wants to show his family and other young kids from Hawai’i that it is possible to be in the sports and entertainment industry without being an athlete and encourages kids to get a college education.

Lily Sawyer

Lily is a first year-scholar from Portland, Oregon and graduated high school with three Associate Degrees from Mt. Hood Community College. In summer 2023, she earned a certification of Completion from UCLA Anderson School of Management and graduated from IMPACT Learning Institute. Lily currently works three positions with Sun Devil Athletics as a Marketing Gameday Lead, Ticket Sales Associate, and Sound Technician. She also interned for the Oakland Athletics as a Spring Training Operations Intern and a WayFinder for Super Bowl LVII for On Location. On campus, Lily is both a Data Analyst for her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, and an active member of Sports Business Association at ASU. Upon graduation, Lily aspires to work in Community Outreach Programs and Corporate Sponsorships to help improve community relations with sports teams.

Ethan Sheanin

Ethan is a junior and a second-year scholar from Oakland, California. During the summer of 2023, he held an internship with Major League Baseball in New York City along with working as a Guest Service Representative for the Arizona Diamondbacks. In the past, Ethan has interned for the Oakland Athletics and was a Pac-12 MMR Corporate Partnerships Intern. He also was a Guest Services Representative at the 2023 World Baseball Classic and a Media Operations Associate at Super Bowl LVII. Ethan is involved in ASU’s Sports Business Association and ASU Hillel, where he is on the Outreach Committee for sporting events. With his favorite sports teams being the Los Angeles Dodgers, he hopes to pursue a career in the Major League Baseball League office.

Tommy Strauel

Thomas Strauel is a senior majoring in Sports Business with a minor in Professional Sales. Thomas has recently worked with the Arizona Coyotes as a PUCK intern during the 2022-2023 National Hockey League season. Currently, he is a Revenue Integrity specialist for arrivia, and the team captain of his intramural basketball team. Thomas aspires to become a Sports Agent to help athletes secure better futures during and after their careers in sports. Although he is originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, Thomas is an avid fan of both the New England Patriots and Boston Celtics.

Avery Wright

Avery is originally from Omaha, Nebraska, majoring in Sports Business with a certificate in International Business. In 2020, Avery wrote a bill as a Senator at the American Legion Auxiliary’s Girls Nation in Washington, D.C., in partnership with U.S. Senator Ben Sasse, which was passed on the floor of the Capitol. Avery is a heavily involved sophomore on campus as a member of the Business School Council, Women’s Business Leaders Association, Sports Analytics Association, and Women’s Rugby. Avery is the Women’s Rugby Treasurer as well as the Professional Development Committee chair for the Business School Council. Most recently, she was a Corporate Partnerships Intern for  Lifestyle Fitness and aspires to attend law school upon graduation. Being receptive bilingual in Spanish, Avery’s career goal is to create a more inclusive and accessible space in the world of sports.

Jason Yokoyama

Jason is a senior double majoring in Supply Chain Management and Sports Business. He is actively involved in his fraternity, Theta Chi, and ASU’s Sports Business Association along with being a 4-year member of the Service League of Boys community service. Currently, Jason works as an Operations Intern at DHL supply chain. He previously worked for Super Bowl LVII in mobility assistance and the 2022 Fiesta Bowl as a surveyor. Jason was also named a 2020 National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete. Jason’s goal is to work his way up to being a senior-level executive for a professional sports team. Since Jason is from Orange County, California, his favorite teams include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Pittsburgh Steelers.
